Some friends and I have put together a booth at a local craft fair. The area where I live is famous around the country for the fall arts and crafts festivals that are held here every year. I have put a couple dozen ring slings in the booth along with another dozen doll slings that are sized for toddlers and children to carry baby dolls and stuffed animals in.
It's been a lot of work putting everything together, and I really hope that we all do well. I know that everything that we have is super cute!

Little Goose Baby is based in Northwest Arkansas and was officially launched in the summer of 2008. All slings are designed and sewn by me, Susan Holt. I began sewing slings in early 2007 as I was dissatisfied with the other products I had tried with my daughter. My first sling was a success, but I continued to tweak the design for several months, giving the products to friends for shower gifts. After at least 15 successful attempts and over a year of "test-marketing," my friends finally convinced me to begin selling my slings. Since my first sales, I have had lots of positive feedback on my unique shoulder design and fashionable color combinations. I continue to use my own products for my children and relations and feel confident in giving them as gifts to others. My focus in selling the slings is mostly through craft fairs and shows as well as in selected boutiques; however, I welcome opportunities to create custom slings for clients who hear about me through word of mouth or at the shows.
